Ray McDonald: "The truth will come out"

San Francisco 49ers defensive end Ray McDonald reveals that the truth will come out and that he is a 'good person' following his arrest for a domestic violence felony.

San Francisco 49ers defensive end Ray McDonald is adamant that the truth will come out following his arrest for a domestic violence felony.

Reports suggest that the 29-year-old was involved in an altercation with his fiancee that resulted in McDonald being arrested and taken into custody. He was later released on bail but had a court date set for September 15, according to CSN Bay Area.

McDonald could also face action from the NFL in light of new rules governing the policy of personal conduct regarding domestic abuse.

"The truth will come out, you know. I can't say too much right now but the truth will come out. Everybody knows what kind of person I am. I'm a good-hearted person," McDonald told KTVU.

The 49ers open their 2014 season on Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys.
