Marcus Lattimore: 'No team should pass on Jadeveon Clowney'

San Francisco 49ers running back Marcus Lattimore believes that no team in the NFL should pass up the opportunity to draft Jadeveon Clowney.

San Francisco 49ers running back Marcus Lattimore believes that any team in the NFL would be foolish not to select Jadeveon Clowney.

Lattimore was a teammate of Clowney's for two seasons at the South Carolina Gamecocks, and after an impressive performance at the NFL Combine along with his college career, he is adamant that he should go number one overall.

Lattimore told SiriusXM NFL Radio: "After that 40 time, and just the athlete he is, I don't see why he wouldn't go No. 1. I mean, why would you pass on a guy that can impact your team from Day One?

"He's a freak athlete, he can run like a deer and he's powerful, and he can get to the quarterback. It just makes perfect sense — I don't understand why you wouldn't take him No. 1."

Clowney notched 24 sacks during his three years with South Carolina.
