San Diego Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers has hailed Sunday's win over the Kansas City Chiefs as the best of his career.
Rivers was instrumental during the fourth quarter of the nail-biting contest, throwing a touchdown to Seyi Ajirotutu with 31 seconds remaining to wrap up the victory.
He told Chargers.com: "Yeah it's one of those you'll never forget that's for sure. We had a comeback here in Kansas in 2008 which was previously my favourite until today.
"We were playing well but not great and the game was very back-and-forth. It was a heck of a team win; the kind which can save a season.
"It has certainly kept alive and plunge us forward going into the last four or five."
The Chargers have moved to 5-6 in the AFC West following the success over their divisional rivals.
