Philip Rivers: 'I didn't say anything out of line'

San Diego Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers believes that he did not say anything "out of line" to the officials in his side's defeat to the Tennessee Titans.

San Diego Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers has revealed that he did not say anything "out of line" towards officials in his side's defeat to the Tennessee Titans.

Rivers received a 15-yard penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct after remonstrating with officials when a touchdown for his side was chalked off on a pass interference call.

"I didn't say one thing that was out of line. Again, that's no excuse. I'm certainly not proud of getting a penalty," Rivers told reporters.

"I've not seen the replay. I'm not sure if it was the right call or not. Obviously that's what I was so upset about. It was a big play. It was a big play in the game. It was a touchdown and it gets called back."

The Chargers face the Dallas Cowboys in week four.
