San Diego Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers has revealed that he did not say anything "out of line" towards officials in his side's defeat to the Tennessee Titans.
Rivers received a 15-yard penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct after remonstrating with officials when a touchdown for his side was chalked off on a pass interference call.
"I didn't say one thing that was out of line. Again, that's no excuse. I'm certainly not proud of getting a penalty," Rivers told reporters.
"I've not seen the replay. I'm not sure if it was the right call or not. Obviously that's what I was so upset about. It was a big play. It was a big play in the game. It was a touchdown and it gets called back."
The Chargers face the Dallas Cowboys in week four.
