The Pittsburgh Steelers have grabbed a 12-6 victory against the St Louis Rams at the Edward Jones Dome thanks to a Le'Veon Bell touchdown.
The game was only able to get underway after a firework malfunction caused a 30-minute delay, and it was Josh Scobee who put the first points on the scoreboard with a field goal with just over seven minutes remaining in the first quarter.
Bell then offered the game's first endzone action in the second, scoring a one-yard run to give the Steelers a 9-0 lead.
Greg Zuerlein pulled three points back for the home side with just over two minutes remaining before the break to finish up a close first half.
Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was forced off during a scoreless third quarter with a knee injury, before Zuerlein added another three points in the fourth with a 27-yard field goal.
The scoreboard would have remained quiet had it not been for Scobee again, who scored his second field goal of the game to seal the 12-6 win.
