Le'Veon Bell: Knee injury "nothing too major"

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell insists that his knee injury is not a big concern.

Le'Veon Bell has said that the knee injury which has kept him out of practice for the last couple of days is "nothing too major".

The Pittsburgh Steelers running back sustained the injury a day after being named as a starter for the team's pre-season game against the Washington Redskins.

The rookie told the team's website: "It's not too bad. It's nothing too major. I don't know the length or period of time, but it's not as bad as everybody thinks it is.

"I remember running the ball, I slowed down and got hit, guys are strong and big out here and they knocked me off balance and I fell awkwardly on my leg. It's something that happens, but I don't usually fall on it. But when I feel, I feel awkwardly."

Bell missed the defeat to the New York Giants last weekend with an injury to the same knee.
