The Kansas City Chiefs are leading the Oakland Raiders 35-17 at half time in their NFL clash.
The Chiefs took the lead in the first quarter through Jamaal Charles, who was able to latch onto a 49-yard pass from Alex Smith, before Ryan Succop kicked good for the extra point.
The Raiders responded with a field goal as Sebastian Janikowski kicked from 34 yards, but the Chiefs soon restored their healthy lead when Charles and Smith combined again for a 39-yard pass and touchdown, leaving the score at 14-3.
Eric Berry pushed Kansas further in front when he completed a 47-yard interception return, leaving Succop to kick the Chiefs into a 21-3 lead.
The Raiders had not given up the fight, though, and hit back in the second quarter through Rashad Jennings, who completed a yard-run to take Oakland's score to 10.
However, Charles was back midway through the second to put the Chiefs into a more commanding position when he completed a simple one-yard run to score the touchdown, before combining with Smith again for another to leave the score at 35-10.
Jennings managed to pull more points back for the Raiders with a one-yard run just before the break, as the half ended 35-17.
