Vince Young imposter arrested

The main suspect in the Vince Young imposter case is arrested on charges of fraud.

The man suspected of impersonating Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Vince Young has been arrested on charges of fraud, according to reports.

DC area native Stephan Pittman is believed to have posed as Young and accepted money to make appearances and donations to allegedly go towards the Vince Young Foundation, the quarterback's non-profit organisation, according to NBC Washington.

Earlier in the week, Young posted on Twitter and released a video to alert the public, media and authorities of a DC-based imposter.

"There's a guy in DC running around saying he's me," he said. "Keep watch out for this guy because he's not me. He's out there impersonating me.

"He's been taking money, taking pictures with kids at hospitals. It's real sick."

Young first filed a complaint in Houston, prior to his release from the Tennessee Titans, which said that a man was using his name for financial gain in the DC area.
