It has been reported that the New York Giants have not ruled out re-signing running back Brandon Jacobs.

The 30-year-old left the Giants to join the San Francisco 49ers for the 2012 season, but was suspended and released before the end of the campaign.

The New York Post reports that the franchise has not held talks with Jacobs but they have not ruled out a contract offer for the running back.

Jacobs posted a picture from his time with the Giants on Twitter earlier this week, stating that he wants to get back into the team's uniform.
