Eli Manning frustrated at three successive defeats

New York Giants' Eli Manning claims that good practices and not words will lead to the team being able to fix their season.

New York Giants offensive captain Eli Manning has said that the most frustrating thing about being 0-3 is simply that their record tells the full story of their season so far.

Quarterback Manning and his side were completely outplayed in their 38-0 loss to the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, completing their worst start to an NFL campaign since 1996.

"The most frustrating thing about being 0-3 is just being 0-3," Manning told the team's official website after game. "Obviously we've dug ourselves into a little bit of a hole.

"All we can worry about right now is looking at this film tomorrow, finding out where our mistakes are and where we need to make improvements and how we are going to change things and get back to winning some football games.

"But words aren't going to fix anything. It's about us having great practices and coming out there and playing better on game day."

Manning's Giants have a tough test in week four when they travel to the Kansas City Chiefs, who have won all three of their matches to date.
