Eli Manning: 'Victor Cruz is playing great'

New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning believes that wide receiver Victor Cruz has 'played great' in the first four games of the season.

Eli Manning has said that Victor Cruz is "playing great" despite the New York Giants losing their first four games of the 2013 NFL season.

The wide receiver, who missed the end of the pre-season with a heel injury, has made 425 receiving yards and four touchdowns so far this season.

The quarterback told the team's website: "I think Victor is playing great. He played well this week. He's played well all season. He's making a lot of plays and winning his one-on-one battles.

"I think he's done a great job of coming in and continuing to play at a high level. That's great and hopefully everybody else can catch up to that level."

The Giants face the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.
