New York Giants veteran linebacker Jon Beason has picked up an injury during his team's off-season camp, with the player leaving the field during practice.
Giants coach Tom Coughlin has since revealed that the middle linebacker has injured the bottom part of his foot, though no conclusions have been reached as to the severity of the injury.
Beason's fitness has been a problem for the player in recent times, with the 29-year-old having suffered a left Achilles rupture and microfracture issues with his right knee.
Beason re-signed with the Giants earlier this year, having put pen to paper on a three-year, $19m (£11.2m) deal.
