Phil Simms: 'Eli Manning will adjust to new offensive coordinator'

Former New York Giants quarterback Phil Simms believes that Eli Manning will handle the change in offensive coordinator next season.

Former New York Giants quarterback Phil Simms has expressed his belief that Eli Manning will have no problems making the adjustment to his new offensive coordinator.

The Giants hired Ben McAdoo to be their new OC after Kevin Gilbride retired at the end of the season after spending 40 years in the game, 10 of which were with Tom Coughlin's side.

Simms told Newsday: "I don't think it's going to be tough for him. "It's going to be new information, a new way to do things.

"But there will be a lot of the same plays that every offense runs, and there will be a new voice telling him and different ways of running those plays."

Manning threw a career-high 27 interceptions in the 2013 season.
