Prince Amukamara ready for "physical" battle

New York Giants cornerback Prince Amukamara admits that he is ready for a physical battle against Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson.

New York Giants cornerback Prince Amukamara has revealed that he is prepared to get into a physical battle with Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson.

The 24-year-old is expecting to be matched up with Johnson, who is having an excellent season bar a below-par performance in the Lions' defeat to the Baltimore Ravens on Monday.

"I think there are different ways to play them," Amukamara told CBS. "Some guys might play a little less physical because they don't want to get into that hand match with the guy.

"I haven't changed my game for anyone. I am just as aggressive as anyone. I use my hands. You only get five yards and I think that's the fastest way to slow a receiver down."

Amukamara has 76 tackles, two forced fumbles and an interception this season.
