New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton has insisted that he is only focused on his own team rather than the punishments handed to the New England Patriots.
The Saints were heavily penalised in 2012 for the bountygate scandal, with Payton being suspended for the season, while the club were also docked their second-round picks in the 2012 and 2013 Drafts.
The Patriots also faced severe sanctions due to the deflategate scandal, but Payton is adamant that his team have enough problems on their hands without worrying about the misfortune of another NFL team.
Payton told reporters: "I knew that question was coming at some point. We went through a process three years ago and I'm sure [the Patriots] are going through one right now.
"But other than that our focus right now for me and our team is on what we are doing right now. We've got enough problems ourselves to solve. That's what I'd say."
The Saints missed the playoffs last season with a 7-9 record.
