Brandin Cooks signs four-year New Orleans Saints deal

Brandin Cooks agrees a four-year deal with the New Orleans Saints, the club's general manager Mickey Loomis confirms.

New Orleans Saints first-round Draft pick Brandin Cooks has signed a four-year contract with his new club, just over a week after being selected by the team.

The former Oregon State Beavers wide receiver will remain at the Saints until at least 2018, according to general manager Mickey Loomis on the club's official website.

Head coach Sean Payton recently said that Cooks had the versatility to be used in the slot or outside in his debut season in the NFL.

Cooks posted 226 receptions for 3,272 yards in his three years with Oregon State, with 24 touchdowns overall.
