Kenbrell Thompkins not worried by looming debut

New England Patriots wide receiver Kenbrell Thompkins is confident that he won't have any "jitters" ahead of his NFL debut this Sunday.

New England Patriots wide receiver Kenbrell Thompkins has revealed that he is not worried about making his NFL debut this Sunday.

The 25-year-old joined the Patriots this summer as an undrafted free agent but has risen up the depth chart after a strong showing in pre-season.

He is expected to start alongside fellow wideout Danny Amendola this weekend against the Buffalo Bills.

"I try not to have jitters," Thompkins told reporters. "I think it starts with preparation, make sure I'm on top of things I need to be on top of, and there shouldn't be no jitters."

The Patriots have been boosted by news that tight end Rob Gronkowski is making strides in his recovery from off-season surgeries.
