Mark Wilf: 'Minnesota Vikings will investigate Chris Kluwe comments'

Minnesota Vikings president Mark Wilf reveals the club will investigate former punter Chris Kluwe's accusation that special teams coordinator Mike Preifer made anti-gay remarks.

Minnesota Vikings president Mark Wilf has revealed that the club are to investigate comments made by former punter Chris Kluwe suggesting that special teams coordinator Mike Priefer made anti-gay remarks.

Kluwe released an article on Deadspin detailing events surrounding his release before the 2013 season, in which he alleged that Preifer made offensive comments regarding his stance on same-sex marriage.

"It is extremely important for the Vikings organisation to react immediately and comprehensively with an independent review of these allegations," Wilf said in a statement.

The Vikings are without a head coach after Leslie Frazier was fired on Monday.
