Minnesota Vikings' Norv Turner: Adrian Peterson "looks like he hasn't missed a day"

Minnesota Vikings offensive coordinator Norv Turner believes that Adrian Peterson has not missed a step since his return to the club.

Minnesota Vikings offensive coordinator Norv Turner has revealed that Adrian Peterson has returned to the club in top form following his lengthy absence from the team.

The 30-year-old missed the majority of the 2014 season after he was suspended by the NFL when he filed a no contest plea of causing reckless or negligent injury to his four-year old son, but was later reinstated by the league after US District Court Judge David Doty overturned the decision.

However, Peterson did not return to the Vikings immediately after his suspension was lifted as he was unhappy with their handling of the situation as well as his contract, which prompted an ultimatum from the club to play for them or retire.

The back decided to return to the team for their organised team activities earlier this week, and Turner has remarked that he is already up to speed with his workload.

"I've been around a lot of these guys a lot of years and he's one of the top guys I've been around," Turner told reporters. "He just comes out and looks like he hasn't missed a day."

Peterson has rushed for 10,190 yards and 86 touchdowns in his eight-year NFL career.
