The Miami Dolphins have confirmed that they have signed veteran cornerback Zack Bowman.
The 30-year-old spent the 2014 season with the New York Giants where he struggled to earn playing time in their starting defense, and as a result his contract was not extended by the NFC East side.
Joe Philbin's men moved to sign Bowman to a one-year deal to bolster their depth in their secondary due to the injury struggles of Will Davis and Jamar Taylor.
Bowman told the club's official website: "I'm just excited and looking for to the opportunity to go out here and to have fun with my new teammates.
"I'm always going to come in here and work my butt off and help this team out in any way I can, whether that's at corner, dime, nickel, safety, special teams. Whatever I can do, I just want to come in here and help this team win."
Bowman has recorded 198 tackles and 12 interceptions in his seven-year NFL career.
