Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid has expressed his belief that Jamaal Charles is more important to his side than any other player is to any other side in the NFL.
Charles put in a fine display during yesterday's 56-31 win over the Oakland Raiders, scoring five touchdowns to take his side to 11-3 for the season.
The result clinched a playoff place for Reid's side, and he was full of praise for the star of the show after the match.
"I don't know how anybody can be more valuable to a team and the success that we've had than he has," Reid told The AP.
The Chiefs are currently tied with the Denver Broncos at the top of the AFC West, but they remain in second place due to their inferior head-to-head record.
