Jacksonville Jaguars 'agree five-year deal with Julius Thomas'

Julius Thomas reportedly signs a five-year deal worth £29.8m with the Jacksonville Jaguars after being allowed to leave the Denver Broncos.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have moved to secure tight end Julius Thomas on a five-year deal, according to a report.

The 26-year-old was allowed to leave the Denver Broncos at the end of the 2014 campaign, despite scoring 12 touchdowns for the AFC West side in his past two seasons with the club.

Gus Bradley's men made Thomas a lucrative offer in the region of $45m (£29.8m) over the five-year deal, with $24m (£15.9m) guaranteed, which the tight end accepted, according to NFL Network.

Thomas recorded 109 receptions for 1,282 yards and 24 touchdowns in his four years with the Broncos.
