Houston Texans owner Bob McNair has revealed that his side could trade away the number one pick in the 2014 NFL Draft.
The Texans secured the first overall pick by finishing with the worst record in the NFL with a 2-14 season in their 2013 campaign, and McNair has admitted that the club are considering their options to get the best results.
"Maybe we'll trade down and still get a quarterback that can do the job and get an outstanding defensive player," McNair told reporters.
"It's an exciting time. Everything's a moving target. Lot of different pieces."
Bill O'Brien was confirmed as the new head coach of the Texans on Friday replacing Gary Kubiak, who was fired in December.
