Aaron Rodgers happy to be back at practice with Green Bay Packers

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers says that it was fun to practise for the first time since breaking his collarbone.

Aaron Rodgers has said that it felt "fun" to practise with the Green Bay Packers for the first time since breaking his collar bone.

The quarterback picked up the injury earlier this month, and is expected to miss another game before returning to the playing field.

The 29-year-old told WAUK-AM: "I felt like I was back on the team today. I felt like I was an actual football player so it was fun. It's fun to be back out there with the guys in a walk-through type practice. I felt like that was something I could manage.

"We're 22 days out from the injury today, so expectations have been high. Obviously we've been trying to push it as much as has been reasonable. But, it's a waiting game with broken bones.

"I know my body better than everybody and it's just a matter of combining the strength, the flexibility, the lack of pain and the risk, and when all those align, I'll be back on the field."

The Packers face the Detroit Lions tomorrow.
