Aaron Rodgers confirms broken collarbone

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers confirms that he broke his collarbone in his side's defeat to the Chicago Bears but doesn't know when he will return.

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has revealed that he suffered a fracture of his left collarbone on Monday.

The injury occurred in the first quarter of his side's defeat to the Chicago Bears when he was brought down by defensive end Shea McClellin on the first drive of the game.

Rodgers was forced out of the rest of the match but stated that he didn't know when he will be able to return to action.

"I feel like I've been a quick healer in the past, and I'm hopeful this will be on the short end of whatever prognosis comes up," Rodgers told ESPN.

The Packers are 5-3 in their season after week nine.
