Matthew Stafford: 'Detroit Lions' offense has improved greatly in off-season'

Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford declares that his side's offense has improved greatly during the off-season as he looks to rediscover his best form.

Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford has claimed that his side's offense has taken a major stride forward during the off-season.

The 27-year-old has struggled to find his best form in the NFL over the past three seasons after his breakout performance of the 2011 campaign when he threw for 41 touchdowns.

However, Stafford is confident that he can get back to his peak in the 2015 season due to the talent he has around him in the offense.

"I mean, it's obviously always a work in progress," Stafford told reporters.

"You're always trying to find new ways to get better. But there's no question we've taken strides forward this spring."

The Lions were ranked 19th in total offense in the 2014 campaign.
