Reggie Bush returns to Detroit Lions practice

Lions running back Reggie Bush looks likely to be involved against the Chicago Bears in week four, after coming through practice unscathed on Wednesday.

Detroit Lions running back Reggie Bush has participated in training for the first time since suffering a knee injury in week two.

Bush took a knock during the defeat to the Arizona Cardinals 10 days ago, missing the Lions' win over the Washington Redskins on Sunday.

Second-string back Joique Bell performed admirably in Bush's absence, but the return of their first-choice option ahead of the game with the Chicago Bears this weekend will serve as a certain boost.

Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press wrote on Twitter on Wednesday: "Bush had a sleeve on his left knee but otherwise showed no other signs of injury that kept him out last week."

According to NFL.com, Bush pleaded with the Detroit coaching staff to let him be involved last weekend.
