Reggie Bush places importance on running the ball

Detroit Lions' Reggie Bush thinks that his team are in for a "physical, running game" on the road at Arizona this weekend.

Detroit Lions running back Reggie Bush has stated that running the football will be even more important this weekend, when his team travel to the Arizona Cardinals.

Bush rushed for 90 yards from 21 efforts during last Sunday's 34-24 win over Minnesota, while fellow back Joique Bell ran in two touchdowns.

Bush wrote in his blog for the Detroit club's official website: "Running the ball will be even more critical this week since it's a road game. The crowd is going to be loud, and if you run the ball physically and are gaining positive yards, it takes the crowd out of it a little bit.

"I do think this game is going to be a lot tougher for us to run the ball, but I think if we don't get frustrated early and just keep at it and stay positive, the big plays will come. I am looking forward to this game being a tough, physical running game."

Arizona allowed just 67 yards against the run last weekend.
