Matthew Stafford: 'Detroit Lions have lots of weapons'

Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford says that he is happy to have plenty of weapons on the team's offense.

Matthew Stafford has said that it is "fun" to have so many weapons on the Detroit Lions' offense.

The Minnesota Vikings kept wide receiver Calvin Johnson to 37 yards at the weekend, but running back Joique Bell and tight end Joseph Fauria both found the endzone, while Reggie Bush rushed for 191 yards and had 101 receiving yards.

The quarterback told the team's website: "Guys stepped up and made plays. The more weapons you can have that can stay healthy and produce, the better you're going to be.

"It's fun playing quarterback when you have a lot of weapons at your disposal and I definitely do."

The Lions went on to win the game 34-24.
