Report: Peyton Manning to play in 2015 season

Thirty-eight-year-old quarterback Peyton Manning decides against retirement, according to reports.

Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning has opted against retirement and will play the 2015 season, according to reports.

The 38-year-old has taken some time away after a disappointing 2014 campaign, and reports suggested that he was considering his future.

However, NFL Media claims that Manning has told the team that he will play next season, but he will take a pay cut from £12.4m to £9.8m.

Manning joined the Broncos in 2011 after a 13-year spell with the Indianapolis Colts.

He is a five-time MVP winner and has won one Super Bowl, in 2006.
