Peyton Manning questioned on legacy again

Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning describes what he would hope to be regarded as his legacy.

Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning has again been asked as to what his legacy might be once he finishes his playing career.

The 37-year-old said as recently as Tuesday that he doubts he could even have a legacy at his age, but he was asked the question again in his next pre-Super Bowl media session.

On Sunday, he has the chance to win the second Vince Lombardi Trophy of his 16-year NFL career when his Broncos side take on the Seattle Seahawks.

He told reporters: "This legacy question keeps popping up and I guess I've had a little more time to think about it. If I had my choice, what my legacy would be, it would be that I played my butt off for every team that I ever played on.

"It would also be that I was a really good teammate and I did everything I could to win. Whatever happens along in that time is fine with me. But those are the things that I care about really."

Manning broke regular season records in both passing yards and touchdown passes thrown this season.
