Anthony Spencer: 'I could play on Sunday'

Anthony Spencer hopes that he can play on Sunday for the Dallas Cowboys.

Dallas Cowboys defensive end Anthony Spencer has insisted that he could be in the reckoning to play against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.

Spencer said that he did not suffer any swelling throughout the week and that he is preparing to play should he get the call.

"This is the first week I've gone straight through without swelling," Spencer told the Star-Telegram. "I'm getting ready to play."

Spencer made 55 tackles and forced 11 sacks last season.
