New York Giants safety Antrel Rolle has slammed claims from the Dallas Cowboys that his side faked injuries during Sunday's match between the two teams.
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones accused Giants duo Dan Connor and Cullen Jenkins of feigning injury after they both went down on consecutive plays during a long Cowboys drive, claims that Giants coach Tom Coughlin has rubbished.
Rolle believes that the fact that Connor was unable to continue the match following his injury proves that it was a genuine problem, as well as telling the Cowboys that they should be happy that they managed to win the match as it won't happen next time the two sides meet.
"I don't know what kind of faking they saw, but if a guy doesn't return to the game, I don't know how that's faking," Rolle is quoted as saying by ESPN.
"They got the win, and he just needs to be satisfied with the win, because a game like that will never happen to us again.
"I could care less what Jerry has to say. When we face those guys again, it will be a different outcome."
The Giants will play their first home game of the new season when the Denver Broncos visit the MetLife Stadium on Sunday.
