Dallas Cowboys executive vice-president Stephen Jones believes that NFL prospect Johnny Manziel will be a "star" in the league.

Dallas Cowboys executive vice-president Stephen Jones believes the former Texas A&M Aggies quarterback Johnny Manziel will be a "star" in the NFL.

The 21-year-old is widely tipped to be selected in the first round of the upcoming 2014 NFL Draft, after starring for the Aggies in the college game.

"I think he's going to be a star in this league," Jones told SiriusXM NFL Radio.

"I think he's going to be very successful. I think he's a great competitor, and I think he's going to have an unbelievable career."

The Cowboys select 16th overall with their first-round pick in the Draft.
