Jeremiah Ratliff: 'Facing Dallas Cowboys is just another game'

Chicago Bears defensive tackle Jeremiah Ratliff says that facing his former club will be no different to playing any other side.

Jeremiah Ratliff has said that it will be "just another game" when he lines up against the Dallas Cowboys this weekend.

The defensive tackle started the season with the NFC East side, but was released after failing a physical, eventually joining the Chicago Bears.

The 32-year-old, who made his debut for the Bears, told ESPN: "It's just another game. It's just football. I don't get caught up in all that silly rivalry stuff or some payback. The thing is we're here to win, and we're going to give every effort to do that.

"After a loss you have 6-7 days to wait before you play again, and there's nothing to do but just work. That's why we watch film.

"We see the things that we need to work on. And if you've got anything to you, you're going to look at it and you're going to do everything in your power to fix it."

Ratliff made one tackle on his Chicago debut.
