Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett has admitted that any criticism quarterback Tony Romo faces is an accepted part of the job.
Statistically the 33-year-old has had an excellent season for the Cowboys but has still faced questions over his ability to make plays in big games in December.
Garrett told reporters: "It's the nature of the National Football League, it's the nature of the Dallas Cowboys, it's the nature of playing quarterback. It's just what it is, and he wouldn't trade it for the world.
"It all comes with the dinner. He's got a position that is one of the great jobs on the planet. What comes with that is some of the scrutiny, and he understands that."
The Cowboys are 7-5 in their season and lead the NFC East with four games to play this season.
