Buffalo Bills wide receiver Sammy Watkins has declared that he is ready to return from injury to play in his side's 2015 season opener against the Indianapolis Colts.
The 22-year-old missed all of his side's pre-season matches due to a glute inury, but Watkins believes that he has made enough strides in his recovery to play on Sunday.
"I think I'm ready to play," Watkins told the club's official website. "For the most part it's just about getting mentally and physically prepared for this game and enduring some physical battles.
"So I think I'm in shape. I'm ready to go."
Watkins recorded 65 receptions for 982 yards and six touchdowns in the 2014 season.
