Baltimore Ravens general manager Ozzie Newsome has refused to rule out the possibility of Terrell Suggs being released by the team during the off-season.
Linebacker Suggs, 31, has been with the Ravens since they drafted him in 2003, playing a key role as the franchise won the Super Bowl last year.
However, with both his age and a large salary against him, Newsome suggested that Suggs may be plying his trade elsewhere when the NFL begins again in September.
According to the club's official Twitter account: "Newsome said whether to keep Suggs or not is a decision the #Ravens will have to talk about. Said he's not afraid to let players walk out."
Suggs is a six-time Pro Bowler and had 10 sacks to his name this season.
