Baltimore Ravens general manager Ozzie Newsome has been taken to hospital following his side's 23-20 overtime loss to the Chicago Bears last night, according to a report.
Newsome was sweating profusely after the game and security later blocked off a hallway in the stadium in order to load an unnamed Ravens employee into an ambulance, The Chicago Tribune reports.
The Ravens confirmed that the 57-year-old did not travel back with the team on Sunday night having been advised against flying by a team doctor.
"Ozzie Newsome did not feel well after [Sunday]'s game and a team doctor recommended that Ozzie not fly tonight," read a team statement.
Newsome, who does not have any known medical problems, has been Baltimore's general manager since 2002 and was voted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1999 in recognition of his playing days with the Cleveland Browns.
