Atlanta Falcons' Roddy White will miss the first game of his NFL career with a high ankle sprain against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers while Steven Jackson is also out of the match.

The Atlanta Falcons will be without wide receiver Roddy White and running back Steven Jackson for their clash with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

White will miss a game for the first time of his nine-year NFL career with a high ankle sprain injury which snaps his 133-game streak for the Falcons since arriving at the club in 2004.

Meanwhile, Jackson is out for the fifth week running with a hamstring injury sustained in his side's win over the St Louis Rams.

Mike Smith's team are 1-4 going into their week seven clash with the winless Buccaneers.
