Chris Robshaw wants his England players to "enjoy" World Cup spectacle

England captain Chris Robshaw wants his side to go and "enjoy" the World Cup later this year.

England's captain Chris Robshaw has told his players to go out and enjoy the World Cup when it starts on home soil in September.

England are one of the favourites for the Webb Ellis trophy but are still not firing on all cylinders after a below-par Six Nations.

"It's a bonus [having the World Cup in England], for sure," Robshaw told ESPN. "People ask 'is it pressure?' No, we've got to put that pressure on other teams.

"Other teams come here playing in front of 60 million people cheering us on and we've got to use that to our advantage.

"We want to bring the people who are potentially huge rugby fans, get them involved. The beauty of it is there are games all over the country.

"You've got to not look back after the tournament and say 'we could've done this, we should've done that'. Go out there, enjoy it, make the most of this occasion and hopefully do as well as possible."

England kick off the tournament against Fiji at Twickenham on September 18.
