St Helens too strong for Hull Kingston Rovers

St Helens score a flurry of tries in the second half to seal a comfortable win over Hull Kingston Rovers in the Super League.

St Helens needed a strong second-half performance to seal a 38-18 win over Hull Kingston Rovers in the Super League this evening.

The home side looked to be in control early on, as Adam Swift and Jamie Lomax both scored tries inside the opening 15 minutes.

However, Hull KR fought back before the break, adding two of their own in the final 10 minutes of the first half to head into half time on level terms.

The Saints were able to up their game in the second half, adding four tries in the space of 11 minutes of pull away from the visitors.

Swift had a chance to complete his hat-trick as the final 10 minutes approached, but instead passed to Jon Wilkin, who was wide open to round off the victory.
