Lamine Yamal has confirmed that he will soon sign a new contract at Barcelona, calling the Catalan outfit 'the club of his life'.
The 17-year-old has been in impressive form for Barcelona during the 2024-25 campaign, scoring six goals and registering 12 assists in 21 appearances in all competitions at club level.
In total, Yamal has turned out for Barcelona on 72 occasions, scoring 13 goals and registering 21 assists, which are remarkable numbers considering that he will not be 18 until the middle of this year.

However, Yamal has confirmed that he will be signing a new deal at Barcelona.
"I don't know exactly when the contract will be signed, but I think it'll happen soon. Barca is the club of my life, I hope to renew and stay as long as possible. I want to play in La Liga and Barca. Yes, I'm going to renew my contract," he told CNN Sports.

Yamal confirms new Barcelona deal is imminent
Barcelona are currently preparing to face Athletic Bilbao in the semi-finals of the Spanish Super Cup, where a victory would set up a final appearance against either Real Madrid or Mallorca.
Hansi Flick's side are also challenging for La Liga, the Champions League and the Copa del Rey this season, and Yamal has said that he is confident of enjoying a successful 2025 with the club.
"In 2025 we will give everything to win titles and we want to start with the Super Cup. We are going to give everything to make it the best year of our lives," said the teenager.
"In the end, the league will be won against the teams we have lost to before. I think it's a matter of concentration. We have shown in important moments that we are the best and we will continue to do so. I have no doubt that we will win the league."
Barcelona are currently third in the La Liga table, five points behind leaders Real Madrid, while they will take on Real Betis in the last-16 stage of the Copa del Rey next week.
The Catalan side are in an excellent position to reach the next stage of the Champions League, meanwhile, currently sitting second in the overall table, collecting 15 points from their six matches in this season's competition.
