Celtic's Lukasz Zaluska 'assaulted by fellow Scottish Premiership player'

Celtic goalkeeper Lukasz Zaluska reportedly suffers a head injury after an alleged attack from a fellow Scottish Premiership footballer.

Celtic goalkeeper Lukasz Zaluska has reportedly suffered a serious head injury after allegedly being attacked by another Scottish Premiership player.

Police are investigating an incident, which is believed to have resulted in Zaluska suffering a loss of blood.

According to the Daily Star, the 32-year-old was approached by the unnamed player while he went to get into a taxi in Glasgow City Centre in the early hours of Monday morning.

Police released a statement saying: "Police Scotland are investigating a report of an alleged assault on a 32-year-old male in Ashton Lane, in the west end of Glasgow, in the early hours of Monday morning. Inquiries are ongoing, including the monitoring of CCTV."

Reports have claimed that two other Scottish Premiership players were questioned by the authorities, but it is unknown whether they were involved.
