England and Russia supporters have been involved in a number of alterations across Marseille ahead of their Euro 2016 clash on Saturday night, according to a series of reports.
Trouble has been rife over the last couple of days and it is understood that police were forced to use tear gas to break up a fight in Old Port on Friday evening after bottles were thrown.
According to Daily Mail journalist Sam Cunningham, Russia fans are said to have rushed at their English counterparts to start the initial trouble little after 3pm UK time on Saturday afternoon. Shortly after, a water cannon is said to have arrived as the police attempted to get the situation under control.
On the pitch, England and Russia will open their Euro 2016 Group B campaign on Saturday evening.
