England fans 'involved in second Marseille brawl as police charge in with tear gas'

Police are forced to use tear gas to break up a scuffle with England supporters for a second time in two days in Marseille at Euro 2016.

England supporters were reportedly involved in a second brawl in as many days in Marseille ahead of the Three Lions' Euro 2016 opener against Russia.

Police in riot gear were said to have deployed tear gas to break up a scuffle in the Old Port district on Friday evening after bottles were thrown.

According to The AP reporter Tom White, one fan fought with police in the melee before being wrestled to the ground.

The disorder comes just 18 hours after one England supporter was arrested after around 70 local youths approached groups of Three Lions fans at the Queen Victoria pub in the same area.
