Red Bull driver Sebastian Vettel has hailed his teammate Mark Webber's performance in the qualifying session for the Japanese Grand Prix.
Webber finished in pole position for Sunday's race ahead of the German, who suffered a Kers power-boost system failure that cost him around 0.3s a lap.
"We had a problem but we've done plenty of laps around here," BBC Sport quotes him as saying.
"So congratulations to Mark he did a very good lap. Yeah we had problems but I'm not a big fan of people who say 'I'm not happy with this and I wasn't happy with this.'
"The car was phenomenal today as Mark said. You don't get many days where the car feels great and you can push it to the limit so I enjoyed it."
Vettel currently leads the drivers' rankings.
