Jenson Button has remained tight-lipped on his Formula 1 future, but has insisted that he is in "good talks" with McLaren-Honda.
Rumours have been circulating that the British driver, who is preparing for this weekend's Japanese Grand Prix, is on the verge of quitting the sport.
The 35-year-old recently claimed that he would not race for another team, indicating that if a new contract is not agreed, he will retire from Formula 1.
When asked in today's press conference about his future, Button said: "I can't give you anything else since the last race. There's no more information to give you, you'll have to wait a bit longer.
"We're in good talks - the team and myself. We're here to concentrate on this weekend, it's a big weekend for us. We're hoping for a reasonable result."
McLaren have an option to extend Button's contract by a year, but are reportedly undecided on whether to keep hold of him for the 2016 season.
