Marussia reserve driver Alexander Rossi has taken Jules Bianchi's entry in the Russian Grand Prix this weekend.
Bianchi remains in a critical but stable condition at the Mie General Medical Center in Yokkaichi after suffering a severe head injury during the Japanese Grand Prix last Sunday.
The 25-year-old Frenchman collided with a recovery vehicle tending to Adrian Sutil's Sauber during the rain-affected race at Suzuka.
American rookie Rossi will make his F1 race debut after he was registered by Marussia as one of the team's two drivers to compete alongside Max Chilton at the Sochi Autodrom.
