Yesterday it was confirmed that following nine months in a coma, Jules Bianchi had passed away.
The 25-year-old F1 driver never regained consciousnesses after he had crashed into a crane at Suzuka back in October last year.
It will come as little surprise to learn that news of the Frenchman's death has been met with great sadness - not just by his fellow drivers, but also the sporting world.
Here, Sports Mole has taken a look at some of the tributes that have been paid to Bianchi on social networking sites.
